Get set up, without the headache
Moving to a new country comes with a surprising amount of tech: a phone and internet contract, portals and forms in Dutch, wifi that actually reaches your bedroom, backups of everything you brought, passwords and two-factor codes you can keep track of, a printer that behaves. We'll sort it out together, remotely or at your place, and explain each step in plain English, so you know how your own setup works.
Your data, your call
Don't feel like putting everything in the big US clouds? We can set you up with a personal cloud on European servers for your files, photos, calendar and contacts. Read more about the private cloud
Meet the makers
Harold knows a lot of people in Maastricht's international community and regularly introduces newcomers to hobby clubs, maker labs and other places where people build, fix and learn together. Looking for somewhere to tinker, a group to join, or someone to help you get a project off the ground? Just ask, and he'll point you the right way.
A good place to start is Make-it-fun Hobbies, a Maastricht-based maker and STEM community with workshops, a Maker's Club and a Racing Club. ISB is starting to work with them. Introductions are a friendly favour, not a paid service.
Students: you probably know more than you think
Lots of students here are already very handy with tech. If that's you, we won't try to do what you can do yourself. Use Harold as a sounding board for a project, a second pair of eyes on security or privacy, or a way in to builders and labs around Maastricht.
